As the Chair of the PIAA International Section, I am pleased to welcome delegates to the 2008 International Section conference, to be held in Paris on 03-04 October 2008. Our conference hosts, Le Sou Médical, have done a masterful job in developing a topical agenda for those interested in medical liability issues.

Medicine and medical liability continue to become more complex and the challenges facing medical liability protection providers are growing accordingly. The conference topics will be addressed by an outstanding group of international speakers who are experienced and eager to share with us their perspectives on the important questions facing us all.

An outstanding conference schedule, an agenda grounded in real issues and supported by highly credible speakers, all held in one of the world’s great cities this creates a recipe for an International Section Conference that will be our most successful ever. I look forward to seeing all of you during the conference.
